Gareth Bale reportedly does not feel responsible for Real Madrid's disappointing campaign and he is refusing to quit the club this summer.
The Welshman was once against jeered by his own supporters on Sunday evening as he missed a sitter in Real's eventual 3-2 win over bottom side Huesca.
Madrid fans have targeted Bale more than any other player in a campaign that has seen them eliminated from the Champions League by Ajax in the last 16, knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Barcelona and cut 12 points adrift of top spot in La Liga.
According to El Confidencial, however, the 29-year-old has made it known that he will not budge as he is content in the Spanish capital.
That could be bad news for a number of Premier League clubs, Manchester United included, as Bale had been tripped to return to English football following a six-year spell away.
The ex-Tottenham Hotspur ace is under contract at the Bernabeu until 2022.
