Manchester United could sell Jesse Lingard during the January transfer window, according to a report.

Jesse Lingard could reportedly leave Manchester United during the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old has only made two EFL Cup appearances for the Red Devils this season, while he has not even been involved in a Premier League squad since the start of October.

Lingard's existing deal at Old Trafford is due to expire next summer, although the 20-time English champions do have the option of activating a further 12 months on the agreement.

As reported by ESPN, the England international has recently parted company with agent Mino Raiola and will now be looked after by 'family members and close associates'.

According to The Mirror, United could look to move the versatile attacker on during the January transfer window as they run the risk of losing him on a free transfer.

Lingard has scored 33 goals and registered 20 assists in 209 appearances for the Red Devils.
