Manchester United are reportedly still interested in signing Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
Chelsea made a major play for the France international during the summer transfer window, their bid only failing due to Sevilla insisting on the centre-back's release clause being paid in full.
However, with the 22-year-old continuing to impress at the La Liga outfit, it may only be a matter of time before one of his admirers meet the demands of his club.
According to Fichajes, United remain in contention to sign Kounde during the next summer transfer window.
While United are currently well stocked for options in the middle of their backline, only Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane are regarded as long-term options for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Sevilla are likely to demand the full £68m asking price if United or any other team lodges an interest in 2022.
