Manchester United reportedly remain interested in signing Juventus midfielder Emre Can before the end of the January transfer window.

Manchester United have reportedly retained an interest in signing Juventus midfielder Emre Can.

While United were linked with the Germany international earlier in the January window, the player is said to be against a switch to Old Trafford due to having previously represented Liverpool.

However, having failed to make an addition since the turn of the year, The Express claims that United are still hoping to sign the 26-year-old.

Juventus are open to parting ways with Can, who has played just 281 minutes of football in Serie A during the current campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be monitoring the situation as Jose Mourinho continues to contemplate changes to his squad.

Juventus are expected to push for a permanent deal, although a loan with an option to buy appears to be the most likely scenario.
