Manchester United could reportedly move for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic during the January transfer window.
The Red Devils boosted their squad over the summer with the signings of Tom Heaton, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo, but the club did not bring in a new midfielder despite head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seemingly being keen to boost his options in the middle.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Man United could enter the market in January for a central midfielder, and Brozovic is a potential option for the 20-time English champions.
The Croatia international remains a key player for Inter, but his contract is due to expire next summer, meaning that he could be available for a cut-price fee in the middle of the season.
The 28-year-old has featured in both of his side's Serie A matches this term, while he has made 244 appearances for the club in total since arriving from Dinamo Zagreb in July 2016.
Man United also continue to be linked with Declan Rice but could be forced to pay in the region of £100m for the West Ham United midfielder if they wish to sign him.
