Manchester United are reportedly open to allowing Facundo Pellistri to spend another year on loan at Alaves.
When Pellistri moved to Old Trafford in October, there were suggestions that the 19-year-old could be provided with game time in the first team.
However, after a mixed impact with the reserves, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave the green light for the Uruguayan to spend the second half of the campaign in La Liga.
The playmaker has been provided with four starts and six substitute appearances in Spain's top flight, featuring for a total of 456 minutes.
According to Calciomercato, United are now interested in giving Pellistri a further 12 months at Mendizorrotza.
Sitting four points above the relegation zone with two matches remaining, Alaves must first ensure that they keep their place in La Liga before being able to confirm an extension to the current terms.
