Manchester United have reportedly won the race to sign Real Zaragoza teenager Mateo Mejia.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be prioritising signing young players this summer rather than bringing established internationals to the club ahead of the new season.
According to The Sun, Mejia had been attracting attention from a number of clubs in England and La Liga, but United have swooped to sign the 16-year-old.
The report claims that the Red Devils will pay Zaragoza an initial £600,000 for the winger, who is expected to join up with United's Under-18s if he makes the move to the English giants.
Solskjaer's team have already completed the signing of Daniel James from Swansea City ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
Meanwhile, the club are said to be closing in on a swoop for Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who could cost an initial £42.5m.
