Manchester United have reportedly placed a valuation of £40m on Jadon Sancho, with the Red Devils determined to sell the Englishman during this summer's transfer window.
The ex-Manchester City youngster spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, scoring three goals and registering three assists in 21 appearances during his second spell at BVB.
Dortmund are believed to be keen to keep hold of the 24-year-old this summer but would rather come to an agreement over another loan deal than pay out to re-sign him permanently.
There had been claims that a departure for Man United head coach Erik ten Hag could lead to Sancho being brought back into the first team at Old Trafford next season.
However, according to BBC Sport, even if Ten Hag loses his job, the Red Devils are still planning to sell the forward, with the club wanting £40m for his services.

Man United 'want £40m for Sancho this summer'
The report claims that Man United need to raise funds in order to improve their squad this summer, and Sancho is viewed as a player capable of commanding a healthy transfer fee.
Juventus are among the European clubs said to be keen on his services, while Dortmund could still bring him back to the club on a permanent basis despite being reluctant at this stage.
Sancho has struggled to make his mark for Man United, only managing 12 goals and registering six assists in 82 appearances for the club in all competitions.
The forward was a substitute for his parent club's first three matches of the 2023-24 Premier League season before being left out of the squad entirely against Arsenal.
Ten Hag said that poor performances in training had led to Sancho being left out, but the player insisted that was not the case, and he refused to apologise for effectively branding his manager a liar.

Sancho has struggled to make his mark at Man United
Sancho was eventually removed from the first-team picture at Old Trafford, and he returned to Dortmund on loan in January due to the breakdown of his relationship with Ten Hag.
While he has struggled at Man United, the forward has a record of 53 goals and 67 assists in 158 appearances across two spells with BVB.
Sancho helped Dortmund reach the 2024 Champions League final, and he played 87 minutes of the clash with Real Madrid at Wembley Stadium earlier this month, which the German side lost 2-0.
Man United have the attacker on a contract until June 2026 and can therefore drive a relatively hard bargain, especially considering his performances at Dortmund in the second half of last season.
The club are also expected to sell Mason Greenwood this summer, with Benfica allegedly the latest club to express an interest in signing him.
