Paddy McNair pens new Manchester United deal

Manchester United defender Paddy McNair signs a new deal with the club until 2017.

Manchester United defender Paddy McNair has signed a new deal with the club until summer 2017.

The 19-year-old's contract includes the option to extend his stay at Old Trafford by a further year.

The Northern Ireland Under-21 international has made 12 appearances in all competitions for United this season.

His senior debut for the Red Devils came back in September during a 2-1 win over West Ham United.

"To make my debut for this great club earlier this season was a dream come true," McNair told the club's official website. "I'm pleased to have signed a new contract. I have come through the academy here and I feel I am improving my game all the time with the help of the manager, the coaching staff and my teammates."

United are back in action on Wednesday when they host Burnley in the Premier League.
