Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller has denied that he has been in contact with Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal amid rumours of a move to Old Trafford.
Speculation is rife that the Red Devils are willing to splash out £71m in order to sign the attacker, who is reportedly interested in such a switch.
It was reported in Germany that the Dutchman - who worked alongside Muller for two years in Munich - had touched base with his former player, but the 25-year-old rubbishes those claims.
"Louis Van Gaal hasn't called me, so I don't know about any move," the German told reporters after scoring two goals in a 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen today.
Muller is contracted to the Allianz Arena club until 2019.
