Report: Angel Di Maria wants to stay at Manchester United

Angel Di Maria reportedly tells Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal that he wants to stay at the club.

Angel Di Maria has reportedly told Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal that he wants to stay beyond the summer.

The British record signing apparently has no intention to leave Old Trafford and confirmed his commitment to Van Gaal and executives of the club.

According to The Mirror, the 27-year-old was shaken after he was the victim of an attempted burglary at his Cheshire home.

However, the Argentine is reportedly looking to extend the lease on his city centre apartment, quelling fears that he wanted to quit.

Di Maria has not scored in the Premier League since October 5.
