Report: Juan Mata to join Juventus for £20m

A report claims that Juventus are confident of signing Manchester United attacker Juan Mata in January.

Juan Mata will reportedly leave Manchester United for Juventus in January.

The Spanish international joined United from Chelsea in January and has registered eight goals in 21 games for the former Premier League champions.

However, the 26-year-old's spot in the team has been challenged this season by the arrival of Radamel Falcao, which has forced skipper Wayne Rooney into a deeper role.

According to The Express, Juventus are confident that £20m will be enough to convince United to sell and have no issues over the player's wages.

It is currently unclear whether United will attempt to secure long-time target Arturo Vidal as part of the deal.
