Manchester United are reportedly preparing a move for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.
The German international spent the majority of last season on the sidelines with a knee injury, but returned towards the latter stages of the campaign.
Angel di Maria thrived in the 27-year-old's absence, however, and it is understood that Los Blancos are prepared to part with the former Stuttgart midfielder this summer.
According to The Express, United will test the water with a £17m move.
Khedira is currently with his country at this summer's World Cup.
