Southampton defender Luke Shaw's proposed move to Manchester United has stalled, according to a report.
The Red Devils were said to be close to sealing a deal in the region of £30m for the 18-year-old before the start of the World Cup.
However, the England international is now considering his options and is willing to stay at the Saints until the right offer comes in, with Chelsea keeping tabs on the situation, reports The Guardian.
United have covered themselves in case a deal can't be struck with Shaw by signing Patrice Evra to a one-year contract extension.
