Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig attacker Xavi Simons during this summer's transfer window.
The 21-year-old has been in strong form for Leipzig during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring eight goals and registering five assists in 26 appearances in all competitions, including seven goals and four assists in 19 Bundesliga fixtures.
Simons joined Leipzig on a permanent deal from Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window, with the switch said to be worth an initial £42m, although the deal could eventually rise to £67m due to various add-ons.
There is speculation surrounding the Netherlands international ahead of the summer transfer window, though, with Leipzig believed to be willing to let him leave for the right price.
Man United have been linked with the attacker in recent weeks, and according to TEAMtalk, there is interest from the 20-time English champions, but a deal will be complicated from a financial point of view.

Man United 'considering summer move for Simons'
The report claims that Leipzig could want as much as £67m for Simons depending on how many bonuses have been paid to PSG, with the Bundesliga team looking, for obvious reasons, to make a profit on the Dutchman.
Simons came through the youth system at Barcelona before making the move to PSG in 2021, and he then joined PSV Eindhoven for the 2022-23 campaign before securing a return to the French giants one year later.
The attacker was never given the opportunity to seriously make his mark in Paris, though, only managing one assist in 11 appearances, and his time with the Ligue 1 champions officially came to an end in January.
Simons has a record of 18 goals and 19 assists in 69 appearances for Leipzig, while he has scored four times and registered four assists in 26 outings for the Netherlands, including a goal and an assist against Spain in the UEFA Nations League quarter-final second leg on March 23.

Where would Simons play for Man United?
The Dutchman is capable of featuring in a number of different attacking positions, but his best work this season has come as a number 10, so he could be ideal for Ruben Amorim's 3-4-3 system at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils need specialist players to operate behind a centre-forward, and Simons would be perfect for that role, with his goalscoring abilities and creation making him the ideal acquisition for the English club.
Amorim also wants to bring in a centre-forward, while Man United are said to be keeping a close eye on Fermin Lopez's situation at Barcelona, with the Spaniard potentially available for transfer this summer.
