Liverpool and Manchester United have emerged as rivals for Fulham's teenage forward Patrick Roberts, according to reports.
The 16-year-old won his first England youth cap in the Under-16s' 5-0 win over Northern Ireland last September, but regularly turns out for the Cottagers' Under-18 team.
The Express believes that Sir Alex Ferguson and Brendan Rodgers are both keen on the youngster, who can play behind a striker or wide on the right.
However, Goal.com have reported that the West Londoners are desperate to keep Roberts at Craven Cottage and are preparing a full-time contract.
Reports suggest that they are ready to turn down bids in excess of £1m.
