Report: Manchester United will keep Angel di Maria this summer

Angel di Maria will still be a Manchester United player next season, according to reports.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is adamant that he will keep midfielder Angel di Maria next season, according to reports.

The Argentine winger joined United for a club-record £59.7m last summer, but reports have suggested that he wants to leave at the end of the season after a difficult first year in England.

ESPN claims that United still believe that Di Maria can become a success at Old Trafford and are keen to retain his services for at least another year to give him every chance of rediscovering his best form.

The 27-year-old has scored three Premier League goals so far this season.
