Manchester United reportedly identify Barcelona duo Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho as potential replacements for Paul Pogba.

Manchester United will reportedly move for Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho if Paul Pogba leaves Old Trafford this summer.

Pogba revealed on Sunday that he was interested in taking on a new challenge after three seasons with United, although there has been little suggestion that the Premier League side will entertain a sale.

However, according to reports in Spain, United may look to raid Barcelona for Rakitic and Coutinho if they are left short in the middle of the pitch.

There has been widespread speculation regarding the pair as Barcelona allegedly look to cash in on their services in order to raise transfer funds for new players.

Much could depend on whether United receive their valuation of Pogba, who is said to have been given a price tag in the region of £150m.
