Preview: Middlesbrough vs. Burnley

Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Championship clash between Middlesbrough and Burnley at the Riverside Stadium.

Middlesbrough welcome Burnley to the Riverside Stadium on Tuesday looking to gain their first victory of the Championship campaign.

Boro surprisingly lost 1-0 to relegation candidates Barnsley on Saturday, but they are expected to challenge for promotion this season.

Meanwhile, Burnley - post Jay Rodriguez - recorded a 2-0 win over Bolton Wanderers with goals from Martin Paterson and Charlie Austin.

Both matches between the two sides ended in 2-0 away wins last season, while the pair have recorded two wins apiece in their last four encounters.

The home side are expected to remain unchanged despite their defeat against Barnsley, but Burnley could make one change with Ben Mee replacing Joseph Mills in defence.

Possible lineups:

Middlesbrough: Steele; Hoyte, Woodgate, Williams, Friend; Haroun, Leadbitter, Arca, Ledesma, Bailey; Emnes

Burnley: Grant; Trippier, Shackell, Edgar, Mee; Wallace, Marney, McCann, Stanislas; Austin, Paterson

Sports Mole says: 2-0
