Younes Belhanda: "I want to go to England or Germany"

Montpellier HSC midfielder Younes Belhanda confirms that he wants to leave the club this summer and would like to move to the Premier League or the Bundesliga.

Montpellier HSC midfielder Younes Belhanda wants a move to the Premier League or the Bundesliga in the summer as he seeks an exit from the Ligue 1 side.

The 23-year-old is deemed surplus to requirements by the French side's director Laurent Nicollin and will leave the club for the right price.

"Next season? I don't know," he told L'Equipe. "I have contacts but nothing concrete.

"I want to go to England or Germany. I believe I am made for that football, both physical and technical with a lot of risks.

"My wish is to play in the Champions League next season, but I could sign for a club with big history."

Belhanda made 36 appearances last season for Montpellier, scoring 12 goals.
