Newcastle United midfielder Jonas Gutierrez has stressed the importance of him and his teammates giving 100% in whichever formation manager Alan Pardew decides to use.
Pardew has continued to play a 4-4-2 formation despite Newcastle losing four matches in a row in the Premier League, but Gutierrez believes that he and his teammates should be able to adapt to whatever their manager asks of them.
Gutierrez told the Shields Gazette: "We have different type of formations – we can play 4-3-3, 4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1.
"I think we different types of players, so that gives the manager different options and different formations.
"It depends on the game and the teams that we play against. What is more important is the players that play in these positions try to do their best and try to give 100%."
Newcastle are currently sitting in 14th place in the Premier League table.
