Demba Ba will partner Papiss Cisse up front for Newcastle United against Wigan Athletic tonight.

Demba Ba has been named in the Newcastle United starting lineup for tonight's encounter with Wigan Athletic.

Reports today had suggested that the striker had rejected the club's offer of a new contract. Nevertheless, he will play alongside Papiss Cisse in the Newcastle attack.

Meanwhile, Jordi Gomez will feature in an advanced midfield role for visiting Wigan.
