Newcastle United head coach John Carver has hinted that the club will not be delving into the transfer market before the end of the window.
Speaking after the Magpies' 3-0 win at Hull City on Saturday, Carver suggested that his mind is solely focused on first-team matters.
He told the Newcastle Chronicle: "I've gone on record in saying my job is head coach - I pick the team and coach the team."
Carver has been appointed as head coach until the end of the season after initially succeeding Alan Pardew as caretaker boss at St James' Park.
