Sebastien Bassong: "We will bounce back"

Norwich City defender Sebastien Bassong urges his side to forget yesterday's heavy loss to Liverpool at Carrow Road.

Sebastien Bassong is adamant that Norwich City will recover from their 5-2 home defeat to Liverpool yesterday afternoon.

The Canaries rarely threatened the Reds, who eased into a 4-0 lead before the home side had managed to trouble the scorers.

Centre-back Bassong, who missed the match through injury, has tipped his side to "bounce back" from the disappointment and collect positive results over the coming weeks.

"Always very disappointing and tough to get a result like today but we gotta keep the belief and keep working," he wrote on Twitter. We will bounce back!"

The result has left Norwich 18th in the Premier League table.
