Sports Mole previews the clash between Newcastle and Norwich, which sees Canaries boss Chris Hughton return to his former club.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is expected to recall several big names for the visit of Norwich City on Sunday, which sees Chris Hughton pitted against his former club.

Pardew made seven changes for the Magpies' Europa League goalless draw against Maritimo in midweek, but is likely to revert largely to the side that drew 2-2 with Everton last Monday.

Demba Ba netted twice off the bench against the Toffees and should be rewarded with a starting berth alongside Senegalese compatriot Papiss Cisse in attack.

Goalkeeper Tim Krul is still sidelined with injury so Steve Harper will continue to deputise in between the posts.

Norwich have yet to win in the Premier League this season, but Hughton is likely to stick with the side that drew with West Ham United for the trip to the club that he managed between July 2009 and December 2010.

Like Hughton, Sebastien Bassong is in line to face his former employers, while Harry Kane is pushing for a a start after debuting off the bench last weekend.

Recent form:

Newcastle: Harper; Perch, Taylor, Williamson, Santon; Gutierrez, Anita, Cabaye, Ben Arfa; Ba, Cisse

Norwich: Ruddy; Martin, Barnett, Bassong, Garrido; Snodgrass, Howson, Johnson, Surman; Holt, Jackson

Sports Mole says: 2-0
