Norwich City's Alexander Tettey faces two-month layoff with ankle injury

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton reveals that midfielder Alex Tettey could be on the sidelines for two months following ankle surgery.

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has revealed that midfielder Alexander Tettey could be out for two months with an ankle injury.

The 27-year-old, who was forced to undergo surgery, has started five Premier League games for the Canaries this season.

"He has had an operation on an area just above his ankle which will keep him out for perhaps a couple of months," BBC Sport quotes Hughton as saying.

Norwich will take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium tomorrow.
