Alexander Tettey raring to go at Wembley

Alexander Tettey claims that playing in the Championship playoff final is "right up there" in terms of high-profile games he has previously competed in.

Norwich City midfielder Alexander Tettey has claimed that reaching the Premier League via the playoffs will be the "ultimate prize" for his side.

The Canaries take on Middlesbrough at a sold-out Wembley Stadium this afternoon looking to return to the top flight at the first time of asking following last year's relegation.

Tettey, who starts for City in the showpiece final, now wants to get the job done in style.

"It's right up there for me because of what's at stake, where the game is and the atmosphere," he told the club's official website. "It's the ultimate prize to play at a massive stadium with a lot of history in front of 90,000 people.

"Winning against Ipswich was good but we're just looking to win the final as that would mean much more. I'd be fit to play this game at any cost, so it's all about getting ready for the ultimate battle.

"My target at the start of the season was to get back to the Premier League, and I know we're good enough. It's where everyone wants to be. That's still the target, because we haven't won anything yet."

Norwich have lost just one of their last 13 games heading into today's meeting with Boro.
