Norwich City boss Neil Adams has suggested that Leroy Fer will leave the club this summer.
The Netherlands international, who is due back in training on Monday, has been linked with a move away from Carrow Road following the club's relegation to the Championship.
With Queens Park Rangers thought to be leading the chase to sign the 24-year-old, Adams admits that an exit for Fer is likely.
"He's just played in the World Cup, he scored a goal and he's going to be in demand from bigger and more wealthy teams," Adams told Sky Sports News.
"Obviously with our relegation last season we're going to be at the mercy of that.
"I've said many times I'd love to keep them all but we have to be realistic. If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't I'd love for him to be playing all season with us."
Norwich start their Championship campaign with a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on August 10.
