Half-Time Report: Nottingham Forest, Charlton Athletic goalless at the break

Nottingham Forest and Charlton Athletic play out goalless first half at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest are being held to a goalless draw at half time against Charlton Athletic at the City Ground.

Astrit Ajdarevic had a couple of efforts early on for Charlton, but both shots were unable to find the target before Reza Ghoochanneijhad saw an attempt of his own blocked by the Forest defence.

Marvin Sordell came close to scoring for the visiting Addicks, but his effort could only find the post on 26 minutes after Jordan Cousins had teed his teammate up.

Darius Henderson had earlier had a chance for the home side but his left-footed shot flashed wide after Gonzalo Jara's clever through-ball.

Simon Cox hit the post towards the end of the half before Henderson had a header tipped over the bar.
