Stuart Pearce delighted by spirited Nottingham Forest

Stuart Pearce hails the fighting spirit of his Nottingham Forest side after seeing them score late on to earn a 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town.

Nottingham Forest manager Stuart Pearce has hailed his team's fighting spirit after seeing them score a late equaliser to earn a 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town.

Forest maintained their unbeaten start to the season on Sunday as Michail Antonio's injury-time goal secured them a share of the spoils at the City Ground.

Despite his side dropping points on home turf, Pearce is eager to take the positives out of their dogged display.

"As they have shown many times before in games this season, they will fight to the last," he told the Nottingham Post. "We are also pleased with the chances we created. We will take the positives out of this. We will take the point, even if we were hoping for three."

Sunday's draw has seen Forest move back up to second place in the Championship table.
