Karl Darlow: 'I'm happy at Nottingham Forest'

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Karl Darlow insists that he is happy at the club amid speculation linking him with a move away.

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Karl Darlow has insisted that he is happy to remain at the club amid speculation linking him with Premier League sides.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly shown an interest in signing the 23-year-old, but the Reds have not received any official approaches for the player.

Darlow believes that playing regular first-team football under Forest manager Stuart Pearce will aid his development.

"It is a compliment, isn't it, being linked with Premier League clubs," Darlow told the Nottingham Post. "But nothing has happened and I still have three years left on my contract here.

"I am very happy with the club and I am very happy playing. When I am playing is when I am at my happiest. When you come out and play every weekend, you cannot beat that."

"I want to play football. I want to play football every week. I want that pressure of playing in front of thousands of fans. That is when I am at my best, that is when I am happiest performing. So yes, I am happy here."

Darlow has made 67 appearances for Forest since making his debut in 2011.
