Nottingham Forest are reportedly on the verge of signing Hamburg defender Michael Mancienne.
The Championship club are believed to have agreed a fee in the region of £1.5m with their German counterparts for the former Chelsea defender.
The centre-back held talks with manager Stuart Pearce in London yesterday afternoon, where personal terms were agreed, according to The Telegraph.
Pearce worked alongside Mancienne, who will undergo a medical at the City Ground today, during his time in charge of the England Under-21 side.
