Preview: Olympiakos vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole previews Arsenal's final Champions League group encounter against Greek side Olympiakos.

Arsenal travel to Greece on Tuesday knowing that even a victory may not secure them top spot in Group B.

For the Gunners to advance through as group winners, they will also have to hope that Schalke 04 fail to overcome the challenge of Montpellier.

Tuesday's meeting will be the second time that Arsenal have taken on Olympiakos at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in as many years. On that occasion Arsene Wenger's side were defeated 3-1 by their Greek hosts.

With his side having already qualified, Wenger may opt to rotate his starting lineup. That could mean a starting role for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, while Olivier Giroud may also be recalled.

Meanwhile, Northern Ireland international Roy Carroll is expected to start in goal for the home team.

Incidentally, Carroll kept goal for Manchester United during the 2005 FA Cup final - the last time that Arsenal won a trophy.
