Roberto Donadoni: 'Antonio Cassano, Marco Parolo staying'

Roberto Donadoni wants to keep hold of Antonio Cassano and Marco Parolo this transfer window.

Parma coach Roberto Donadoni has insisted that both striker Antonio Cassano and midfielder Marco Parolo will remain at the club this January.

Both players have been linked with moves to other Serie A sides in the transfer window, but Donadoni said that both are important to Parma.

"Antonio will not move from Parma," Donadoni told Rai Sport. "It is not our intention to sell him. Marco has done very well in the first half of the season.

"He has scored six goals from midfield. He could do more, but it's ok. It's normal that the big clubs are interested in him."

Cassano has been linked with a move to his former club Sampdoria.
