Hull City claimed their second win in two games by beating Peterborough United 1-0 at London Road.

The visitors were frustrated in the first half by Posh goalkeeper Paul Jones, but they eventually went in front after the interval when former Peterborough striker Aaron McLean scored from Tom Cairney's corner.

Adriano Basso made of string of fine saves in the opposing goal to keep his side in front and claim all three points.

The Tigers are now ninth in the Championship, with Darren Ferguson's team falling to 11th after their third straight defeat.
