Darren Ferguson promises Peterborough United changes

Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson insists that he will make changes to his squad in January following Monday's 2-0 defeat to Walsall.

Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has promised to make changes to his squad in January following Monday's defeat to Walsall.

The Posh, who went down 2-0 at the Banks's Stadium, have now lost three consecutive matches in League One.

"It's up to me to find a way to get our form back, but there's no question in my own mind I know what I want to do," Ferguson told BBC Sport.

"It's just a pity the next month is not January, because there are certainly going to be changes.

"We're 16 games in now and I've seen certain patterns, inconsistencies and areas of the pitch where we've just not been good enough."

Peterborough continue their League One campaign on Saturday when they welcome Stevenage to London Road.
