Liverpool came back from a goal down to beat Preston North End 2-1 at Deepdale in their pre-season encounter this afternoon.
The hosts had the better of the first half, and took the lead just seconds before the interval when Josh Brownhill reacted quickly to prod home from a yard out after Brad Jones had kept out Joe Garner's bicycle kick.
Liverpool improved after the break, with Jordan Ibe, who had come on for Emre Can early in the first half, causing the Preston defence problems.
It was Ibe's mazy run that set up Suso for Liverpool's equaliser on 74 minutes, with the Spanish midfielder's curling effort from the edge of the area beating Thorsten Stuckmann in the Preston goal.
Three minutes later Liverpool were ahead as Ibe burst down the left wing before cutting the ball back for Kristoffer Peterson to finish smartly and give Liverpool the win.
