Preston North End have announced that both Chris Humphrey and John Welsh have signed new two-year contracts with the club.
Jamaican wide-man Humphrey, 27, and midfielder Welsh, 31, made 81 League One appearances between them as the Lilywhites were promoted to the Championship by winning the playoff final.
North End boss Simon Grayson was delighted to tie down the pair after securing the permanent signing of Jermaine Beckford, who scored a hat-trick at in last month's final at Wembley against Swindon Town.
"After completing Jermaine's deal on Monday more pieces of the jigsaw are being put in place with hard work behind the scenes," Grayson told the club website.
"Getting John and Chris signed up is more positive news and we are delighted they have committed their futures to what we are building at Deepdale."
The fixtures for next season will be released a week today.
