How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Reims

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Wednesday's Ligue 1 clash with Reims at the Parc des Princes.

Lyon did not make it particularly easy for them, but Paris Saint-Germain recorded a 1-0 victory on Sunday night to move three points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table.

Neymar's 87th-minute goal made it two 1-0 wins in a row and four wins from five in the league this season for Thomas Tuchel's men.

PSG return to league action on Wednesday night, as they welcome David Guion's Reims to the Parc des Princes.

The Red and Whites drew 0-0 with Monaco on Saturday and they currently sit 10th in the league table, having taken eight points from their opening six games.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how PSG could line up for Wednesday's showdown.

Possible PSG XI vs. REI

Out: Mauro Icardi (groin), Colin Dagba (hamstring), Pablo Sarabia (muscle), Julian Draxler (foot), Thilo Kehrer (foot)
Doubtful: Kylian Mbappe (hamstring), Edinson Cavani (groin)

PSG boss Tuchel is likely to make a few changes for this midweek game in order to keep his side as fresh as possible with a number of first-team players already on the sidelines.

Costa Rica international Keylor Navas should continue in goal and, while the defence in front of him will largely remain unchanged, Pascal Kimpembe is expected to come in at centre-half to give Thiago Silva a rest.

Tuchel utilised Marquinhos in midfield against Lyon to make them a little more robust across the middle of the pitch, but against Reims he is likely to opt for a more attacking trio, with Argentina's Leandro Paredes likely to replace the Brazilian.

Although Neymar has not long come back from injury, his two consecutive match-winning performances in the league should see him retain his place on the left, while Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Angel Di Maria are expected to stay in the starting lineup with Icardi, Sarabia, Cavani and Mbappe still out.
