Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly emerged as a candidate to make a return to the managerial dugout at Paris Saint-Germain next summer.
The Italian is under heavy pressure at Napoli following a poor start to the Serie A season, with the Neapolitan side seventh in the table, 17 points behind leaders Inter Milan.
Ancelotti had a stint at the Parc des Princes between 2011 and 2013, winning the 2012-13 Ligue 1 title - the club's first league triumph in 20 years at the time.
According to Foot Mercato, Ancelotti is a strong candidate to replace Thomas Tuchel next summer.
Reports have claimed that Tuchel, now in his second season at PSG, is being lined up for the managerial role at Bayern Munich.
Should that move not materialise, however, the German will nonetheless be moved along by the Ligue 1 champions in the summer if he once again fails in the Champions League.
