Leonardo claims that Carlo Ancelotti is "perfect" for Paris Saint-Germain and is "very important" for the club's future.

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has insisted that Carlo Ancelotti will remain as the club's coach beyond the summer.

The Brazilian claims that the Italian tactician is "perfect" for PSG and is "very important" for the club's future.

"Ancelotti is the man for the situation," ESPN quotes him as saying. "He is perfect for us.

"The market is always open and transfers tend to be based on emotions. That is why things happen at the last minute, and now is not the time to think about it.

"But Carlo is very important for us and for the future of Paris Saint-Germain."

PSG are currently nine points clear at the top of Ligue 1.
