Paris Saint-Germain have extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to five points courtesy of a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Nantes.
The hosts took the lead after just 10 minutes when Thiago Silva poked the ball home from close range after Edinson Cavani had flicked a header towards goal.

They were awarded a penalty later in the first half when Marco Verratti latched onto a sloppy back-pass and was brought down by Chaker Alhadhur in the area.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepped up to take the spot kick and made no mistake from 12 yards to double his side's lead 10 minutes before the break.
It could have been more before the interval as both Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi squandered decent chances right on the stroke of half time.
They wouldn't have to wait much longer after the restart for their third goal, however, as Blaise Matuidi nodded Gregory van der Wiel's delivery back across goal for Thiago Motta to volley home in the 51st minute.

PSG extended their lead even further just six minutes later when Ibrahimovic cut the ball back across the six-yard box for Cavani to tap in.
Ibrahimovic and Motta both came close in quick succession before the former capped off the scoring with 25 minutes of normal time remaining, slamming a powerful finish past Remy Riou after Javier Pastore had been denied a goal with his first touch.
Cavani had another decent sight of goal late on, but Riou collected his poked effort from the edge of the box fairly comfortably as PSG settled for a 5-0 victory.
