Half-Time Report: Queens Park Rangers are frustrated by Blackpool

Queens Park Rangers are behind at home to Blackpool in the Championship, thanks to a David Goodwillie header after 11 minutes.

Blackpool lead 1-0 at Queens Park Rangers in the Championship, thanks to an early David Goodwillie header.

The hosts have dominated possession but have failed to really test Blackpool, who have carried a threat on the break throughout the first 45 minutes.

After a fairly even start, Blackpool took the lead when Goodwillie found space from a corner and headed home from close range on 11 minutes.

Ravel Morrison began to pull the strings for the hosts, seeing a couple of efforts blocked before setting up Nedum Onouha, who headed wide from the middle of the penalty area.

Goodwillie almost doubled his tally towards the end of the half, getting on the end of a swift Blackpool counter-attack, but he could only smash his effort high and wide after collecting Chris Basham's pass.
