QPR assistant coach Kevin Bond is confident that Alejandro Faurlin will return to fitness for this weekend's Championship encounter with Ipswich Town.

Queens Park Rangers assistant coach Kevin Bond has revealed that Alejandro Faurlin should be fit for this weekend's Championship encounter with Ipswich Town.

The Argentine midfielder was forced to miss Saturday's 1-1 draw at Huddersfield Town due to a thigh problem.

"He picked up a thigh strain in training on Thursday," Bond told the club's official website. "At this stage we're hopeful he will be available for next weekend's game against Ipswich."

QPR are currently in sixth place in the Championship table after two games.
