Harry Redknapp reveals full extent of Jose Bosingwa bust-up

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp reveals the full extent of his bust-up with Jose Bosingwa from last season.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed the full extent of last season's fallout with Jose Bosingwa.

The Rangers boss fined the Portuguese defender for a poor attitude to being named on the substitutes' bench during a game against Fulham last season, and Redknapp has now lifted the lid on the bust-up in his autobiography.

In the book, which is being serialised in the Daily Mail, Redknapp wrote: "Rangers had players like Jose Bosingwa, who just six months earlier had won the Champions League final with Chelsea, but he wasn't going to give his all.

"I found out the extent of the problem after we beat Fulham and Bosingwa refused to sit on the subs bench. I'd had problem players in the past but I thought his attitude was disgraceful.

"I fined him two weeks' wages — and that was when I got the shock of my life when I found out how much he was on. Bosingwa's salary was ridiculous."

Redknapp's Rangers are currently second in the Championship, while Bosingwa was released in the summer.
