Loic Remy wants to be held in the same regard as Thierry Henry by the end of his career.

Loic Remy has said that he wants to emulate the achievements of Thierry Henry during his career.

The new Queens Park Rangers striker has been compared to the former Arsenal player, who holds the record for goals scored for the Gunners.

The 26-year-old told The Sun: "My family are from Martinique, he's half [Martinique], that's where it must come from. The biggest compliment in 10 years would be: 'Remy had a career like Titi Henry'.

"He's played more than 50 matches flat out every season for 15 years, scored 51 goals for France, has an incredible record of trophies.

"For the time being I'm very far away. But you can always dream of being a big name in French football."

The French international joined QPR from Marseille earlier this month, and scored on his debut last weekend.
