Reading striker Adam le Fondre has been handed the Championship Player of the Month award for January following a run of impressive form.
The 27-year-old has received plaudits for his performances, which included successive hat-tricks in wins against Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool.
"He's done really well, scoring two hat-tricks and for me the important thing is the partnership he's got with Pavel Pogrebnyak," said manager Nigel Adkins. "They are working so hard for the team.
"We're always talking about Alfie being a goalscorer, but for me he's added the other side to his game in a really positive manner, so well done to him."
The Royals are currently sixth in the league table after 29 games.
