Real Madrid's Iker Casillas injured in Galatasaray clash

Iker Casillas is replaced by Diego Lopez early in the first half of Real Madrid's Champions League clash at Galatasaray due to an injury.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has been forced into making an early change in the first half of his side's Champions League clash against Galatasaray in Istanbul.

Club captain and goalkeeper Iker Casillas has been forced to come off after just 17 minutes because of an injury he suffered after colliding with defender Sergio Ramos.

It initially appeared that the Spain international would be able to continue after a period of medical treatment, but he has now been pulled out of the match and has been replaced by Diego Lopez.

This was Casillas's first competitive start for Madrid this season.
