Toni Kroos: 'Settling at Real Madrid has been easy'

Toni Kroos claims that settling in at Real Madrid has not been too difficult due to his time with 'another big club' Bayern Munich.

German midfielder Toni Kroos has revealed that he has not found it too difficult to settle at Real Madrid this season.

The World Cup winner swapped Bayern Munich for Real Madrid last summer and he has claimed that his time with Bayern has helped him adapt to 'another big club'.

"The differences are not that great, so the change was not difficult for me because I did not move from a small team to a big team, or the other way around. I changed from one great team to another. Each club has its own spirit, which is a little different in this country, but the differences between the two clubs are not huge," Kroos told UEFA.com.

Kroos will return to familiar ground on Wednesday as Los Blancos travel to Schalke 04 for the first leg of their last-16 clash in the Champions League.
