Paul Pogba rues defensive mistake

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba rues the mistake which gave Real Madrid their first goal in Tuesday night's 2-2 draw in the Champions League.

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba lamented the mistake which allowed Real Madrid back in the game in Tuesday night's 2-2 draw in the Champions League.

Martin Caceres's sloppy back-pass allowed Karim Benzema to play in Cristiano Ronaldo to make it 1-1 before Gareth Bale's goal was cancelled out by Fernando Llorente.

"We were facing a great team and saw that the moment we make one mistake, they hit us with pace," Pogba told Sky Sport Italia.

"We put in a good performance, especially in the first half, and we did want to start strong.

"We have to think about ourselves, focus on winning and only afterwards see what the other teams have done. Juve are Juve, so as a great team everyone should be afraid of facing us. We have to prove that we're strong and that we can win."

The draw leaves Juve bottom of Group B on three points.
